I realised that giving myself a list was setting myself up to fail. I’ve moved away. I’ve been sticking largely to the fasting but only because I have noticed a marked improvement in my mental health and energy levels. I’m also trying hard with the vitamins and collagen as they make me feel better. I’m feeling very positive

Day 2 – thought I had posted yesterday
A positive day. Started with dancing. That helped. Also eat well and tried to drink more water. I’ve decided I should give up Diet Coke – I’ve been listening to podcasts which reminded me of what I already knew. The trouble is, I’m addicted.
Day 1…
Not off to the best start. I’ve had a bullet coffee and I’m not eating until 10. Didn’t manage to do my morning dance before getting my train to London but will do that when I get to my parents. I had a really strong urge to pig out this morning. From the reading I’ve done, the more chemically laden food you eat, the more cravings you get the next day. It does feel good to be breaking the cycle. I read a quote yesterday. It said you will never feel happy being slim and if you’re not happy in the journey. That resonated with me. My end goal isn’t to be slim, but to be healthy and I do want to be happy every day. In hormone news, my nurse has doubled my dose of birth control. This has left me with spots at the age 41 – I’ve never really had spots, even through teenage years. I also got an attractive fungal infection under both armpits. My colleague implied it was because I was wearing cheap fabrics. I’m saying it’s down to hormones. I’m doing jobs for my parents today. In my breaks I plan to dance (obvs) and maybe order some wild deodorant
